Architectural Statement:

Nosh and Zaza Indian-Mediterranean Restaurants located in eclectic urban village – Hauz Khas Village in South Delhi. The Project is spread over three floors with Zaza bar on the second floor and Nosh Restaurant on third floor and terrace. The site is located at the end of the walking street and adjoining the monuments of Hauz Khas Fort.

Large floor to ceiling height windows are designed to frame views towards the monument, lake, vast gardens and the Deer Park. All restaurant interior designer and exterior wall surfaces are coated with mud-lape to create texture and undulations. This is inspired from house in traditional Indian villages. The floor has 4 inch square hand tumbled Eeta gold stone flooring with contrasting black grout. There are various niches designed on the wall to display artifacts. On the bar floor, niches act as bar back interior designers

Restaurantceiling has sculpture metal installation inspired by various herbs used in India and Mediterranean cooking. Bar front is handcrafted in wood with silver foil finish. All Furniture is custom designed including the cane chairs for the terrace and tub chairs for the restaurant.
